How to Redeem an App Store Promo Code

If you've received an App Store promo code, well done you! Promo codes give you access to parts of the app which typically cost.

In this article, we'll walk you through the steps for redeeming a promo code on your iOS device (using an iPhone as an example). Follow the instructions below to redeem, your promo code!

1. Open the App Store

Tap your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Scroll down and tap "Redeem Gift Card or Code."

Tap "You can also enter your code manually" and enter the code manually.

Enter your code and tap "Redeem" to add the promo code to your Apple account. Remember, codes are case and space sensitive! The promo code will be automatically applied to your account and will be available for you to use on your next purchase.

2. Open Pibbon

Download and install Pibbon if you don't have it already.

Click the settings button to get to the settings menu.

Click on the "Restore Purchases button. Don't worry, there is no charge or payment associated with this button. It tells the Pibbon app to get all of the items you are entitled to and syncs it to Pibbon.

Go to any child's bookshelf and your claimed item should now be there! If it isn't, swipe down on the screen to refresh it!
